Dry Mounted Fire Water Pump System: A Smarter Design

At the heart of Fischcon’s solution is the dry mounted, hydraulically driven lift pump, combined with a diesel driven booster pump.

Basic Design

  • Dry mounted lift pump installed inside the hull, below water level.
  • Suction connected directly to a sea chest.
  • Booster pump located below or at deck level, powered by a diesel engine.

Installation Flexibility

  • Lift pump positioned in dry compartments such as void spaces or ballast tanks.
  • Booster pump and hydraulic power pack placed below deck, eliminating the need for external enclosures.
