Marine FiFi Class I / II / II Systems

For marine applications Fischcon designs and builds fire fighting pump sets with capacities ranging from 150 to 3.600 m3/hr with pressures of up to 20 bar. These units are either P.T.O. driven or by their own diesel engine/prime mover.
The Fischcon designed "Hell Beater" self-contained fire-fighting system has won many battles. This unique all in one system mounted in a standard 10ft container, can provide up to 1.400 m3/hr with top mounted monitor to beat the fire. Today, there are more than 250 of these "Hellbeater" units in operation all over the world.
Offshore applications hold no secrets for us. In cases where water has to be drawn from greater depths, hydraulic driven submersible pumps are installed with their own diesel driven power packs for fire-fighting and ballast systems. Alternatively, electrical submergible pumps can be supplied using special E-motors. Fischcon has installed many submersible Fi-Fi pumps on board F.S.O.´s and F.P.S.O.´s to provide the level of safety required.
Fire fighting systems are built to Class Notations Fi-Fi I , Fi-Fi II and Fi-Fi III.

Apart from the water monitor requirements, the following additional fire fighting equipment, can be delivered by Fischcon as required:
- Water spraying system for Fi-Fi I (DNV/LRS/ABS)
- High expansion foam generator for Fi-Fi II and III (DNV/ABS)
- Foam Monitors for Fi-Fi III (DNV/ABS)
- Hose connections for Fi-Fi II and III (DNV/ABS)
- Fireman's outfit (DNV/LRS/ABS)
